How much will it cost to restore my car?

We don’t know.
This is probably the most asked question we hear at the shop, and unfortunately it is one that is nearly impossible to answer. Every car is different, and therefore so is the amount of work required to restore them.

How do you do billing?

We bill based on time: $75/man hour plus materials, and we do not take large deposits before we start a job. What tends to happen when shops take a large chunk of money up front is that most of that deposit will be spent on overhead or other projects long before the job it was intended for is even started. We work one to two weeks on a project and then invoice out. This helps us to ensure that our client is always aware of where they stand on they’re project financially, and they never have to worry that their money is paying for someone else’s project.

How long will my project take?

Again, every project is different. A Full build will typically take 2-3 years while smaller projects run through the shop much faster.

Kyle and his guys are great. I gave him a completely painted car to replace floor pans in ( not an easy task). they went above and beyond with a great finished job at a fair price .thanks again I'm really impressed with the craftsmanship.

I wanted to take time to make this post to show my appreciation for Yocum's S.Hot Rods. I found this place via the internet and looked at the pictures of the workmanship. This was very important to me since I am a a novice to classic cars. I am a female that grew up with a lot of male uncles and cousins. I guess this gave my the appreciation for classic mustangs. I purchased a 1966 mustang and it needed some structural work in order to make my car safe to drive. I am always concerned with men in the auto industry because I did not want to be taken advantage of. When I met Kyle, I thought now this "Kid" is younger than me. He was professional and understanding of my needs. I do not have the big budget to completely restore my car at once. Not only did he understand that, he helped me come up with a plan to enjoy my car( by fixing in stages, on my own time). Communication was great through the process. Text with pictures of the progress was awesome !! My mechanic family members were impressed with his workmanship. Not only did I find a great professional at his trade, I found a new friend that I can trust his opinion.I highly recommend using Kyle and Yocum's Signature Hot Roads.

Kyle at Yocum's Signature Hot Rods is a true metal artist. His work is above top notch. He has an unbelievable talent for custom metal fabrication and rust repair. His years of experience and knowledge is worth every penny. You will be hard pressed to find a set of skilled hands like his. I wouldn’t trust my restoration project to anyone else.
